MEASURING

All measurements must be done in CM's.
It is recommended to double check your measuring before sending it in.
We only need arm measurements for partials.

DUCT TAPE DUMMY

If you’re getting a Fursuit we require you supply us with:
A tracing of your hand on paper, with all fingers spread out.
A new pair of runners that fit you comfortably (can be cheap)
And a DTD.

We request that when you make your DTD to be sure not to make it too tight, as that will affect your Fursuit.
When you’re finished making it, it’s always a good idea to move your arms and legs a little to make sure nothing is too tight and constricts your movement too much.
Your DTD is the base of your Fursuit, so it is wise to go the extra mile in making sure it fits you well.
Before sending us your DTD we ask that you tape it back together.
Please keep in mind that in most cases a DTD will be destroyed in making a Fursuit.

MAKING A DTD

You'll need a few things to make a DTD.
-Multiple rolls of Duct-Tape
(any color other than black is fine)
-Marker
-Scissors
-Painters Overalls (can find them at hardware stores for $10)
-A helping hand

-When making a DTD, be sure to spread your arms and legs out.

-To get started you'll want to put on your overalls and tape up your wrist and ankles first to anchor down the suit.
-You'll then want to tape up the legs, be sure not to wrap the tape around the body from the roll, cut the tape up into pieces, and be sure to overlap, even go in a crisscross pattern for stability.

-Next up it's time to tape up the torso, be sure to leave the zipper of the overalls showing, this will make it easier for us to fill your DTD later on.
-Then tape the groin, joining the legs to the torso piece.

-Then tape over the shoulders and around the neck, when taping the neck area be sure not to make it too tight or too loose.
-Lastly it's time to tape up the arms, it helps to prop the arms under a broom (or anything you can find) as your arms will get tired durring this stage.

It's time to wiggle your arms and legs around to make sure everything isn't too tight, if a DTD is too tight, it can effect the end result of your fursuit.

Now that your DTD is complete, use your marker to label: "front" and "back" also write your name on it.
Now mark where the tail, elbows and knees are with an "X", this helps us when patterning the suit.

Now it's time to remove your DTD, first draw some tags with your marker along where you plan to cut (this will help you put your DTD back together later on when you need to tape it back up)

Once your DTD is taped back together you're ready to go!
